Campagnac Villa
This is a luxury villa with it's own private pool set in the heart of the rolling Dordogne countryside and offering total peace and tranquility. The villa is well appointed, offering every modern convenience. Their is a large open plan living area with stone fireplace and French doors leading onto the terrace and pool.
The property will accommodate up to six people in one king size double master bedroom on the first floor, a twin bedroom also on the first floor and a further double bedroom on the ground floor. There is a first floor bathroom and separate wc and a ground floor jet shower room and further separate wc. The villa has full gas central heating and instant hot water with an air conditioning unit, if required, in the large open plan lounge.
A wide screen television has French and English (BBC/ITV/C4/C5) channels via satellite. There is a video (playing UK PAL videos) and a DVD player. The music system will play cassettes, CD, and radio.
The dining area has a large solid oak dining table for six.. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. You will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. There is also a dishwasher. In the utility room there is a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. Cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils are provided.
Smoking is allowed, but not in the bedrooms.
Well behaved dogs are welcome.

The villa is in a very quiet area, surrounded by its own grounds, with a wood to the rear. Approached by a small lane winding up from the valley through the woods. The gated property has no passing traffic, making it safe for children to play.It has it's own secluded south facing private pool, pool side terraces, solar shower. There is a barbeque and rear shaded patio area. There is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
Campagnac Villa is 30 minutes from Bergerac airport and 90 minutes from Bordeaux airport, via autoroute (motorway).
Cottage Le Capiol
A detached traditional stone built village house, hundreds of years old completely renovated to a high standard. Cottage Le Capiol is full of character, in a fantastic location a short walk to the River Dordogne, restaurants and shops. Retaining many original features, stone walls, oak beams, it offers charm together with comfortable accommodation spread over three floors with the lounge on the first floor enjoying views south over the village.
The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board and all cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils.
The cottage has a television receiving French and English (BBC / ITV) channels. There is a music system, playing CDs, cassettes and radio.
The two bedrooms comprise a double on the ground floor with en suite shower room, separate wc, and a twin on the top floor, with en suite bathroom and wc. A cot is available on request. The property has room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.
The cottage has it’s own private parking in front and stone stairs leading down to a small private patio with table and chairs, BBQ and view over the village.
The cottage is in a quiet back street of the charming village of Cenac et St Julien and nestles into the hillside at the foot of the medieval bastide of Domme. In the village you will find a baker and patisserie, butcher, Post Office, bank, supermarket, newsagents, pharmacy etc., there is a market every Tuesday morning, all just around the corner from the cottage.
Vallee de la Dordogne.
The river Dordogne majestically winds it’s way through the region crossing the Perigord Noir and passing the village of Cenac et St Julien which lies at the foot of the medieval bastide of Domme. To the west a short distance along the river you will find La Roque Gageac as equally picturesque and steeped in history as is Domme. A little further along is the famous Chateau of Beynac.
The entire area is steeped in history and pre-history, counting the world famous site of Lascaux within easy reach. From the dawn of time man has left his mark in what must surely be described as one of the most beautiful parts of France. From cave dwellings to fairy tale castles the views and scenery are breath taking.
Close to the cottage you will find walking, swimming, fishing, cycling, mountain biking, tennis, historic sites, a theater / cinema, shopping, a restaurant, a food shop
Less than 45 minutes drive away: Within easy reach of the villa you will find boat hire, horse riding, golf, a museum, a zoo, a theme park.
Le Fourviel.
Set within over 15 acres of rolling open countryside and woodland, Le Forviel offers the real French experience. A completely safe environment for children, very peaceful, with the total freedom to roam around and enjoy everything the large grounds have to offer.
The French owners, a retired couple, live in a nearby property set away from the house and are more than happy to show you around, but will otherwise leave you to enjoy your holiday undisturbed. An English speaking agent is available at all times to assist you with any questions or provide help in doing anything special you would like to do whilst on holiday, e.g. horse riding, bike hire.
Approached via it’s own private drive, Le Fourviel is a very comfortable property with modern open plan kitchen and charming lounge, having oak beams and open insert stone fireplace. The house is very well furnished with a large oak dinning table, television (French), video and every other modern convenience.
There are two good sized bedrooms, one master bedroom with double bed, one second bedroom with standard double, standard single and bunk bed over. The property will comfortably accommodate 4 adults and a child sharing the parents bedroom or a couple and three children in the second bedroom.
There is a large shower room with wash basin, separate wc, dressing room, an open plan living dining room and modern fitted kitchen and utility room. The house is all on one level.
Close by the house is the private pool, 25m2, for your own exclusive use, with table and chairs, pool side shower, walled and secure to the safety norm. There is also a barbecue, outside eating area, table tennis and other games.
An easy stroll away is the village of Pont St. Mamet with it’s general store, bakers, Post Office, restaurant and bar. You can enjoy a quiet drink, play pool or billiards, or hire one of the municipal tennis courts.
Le Fourviel has easy access from Bergerac, 15 minutes drive away and also to Perigueux, 20 minutes, the capital of the Department of the Dordorgne. Further a field you will find, amidst the beautiful countryside and stunning scenery, many historical sites from Bastide, (walled towns) to fairy tale chateaux, prehistoric dwellings, caves and wonderful medieval stone towns and villages.
You can be assured of a warm welcome to a part of rural France steeped in history with excellent and inexpensive restaurants, fine wine and gourmet food.
Domaine l’Etang de Sandanet.
Relax and unwind in the beautiful countryside of the Dordogne.
The Domaine l’Etang de Sandanet offers accommodation in your own self contained gite or chambre d’hotes (B&B). Situated in a hamlet just outside the charming village of Issac, in the countryside next to a fishing lake. There are several activities available, including hiking, swimming in the communal heated pool, table tennis and children’s play area.
The holiday complex is spread over 3 hectares of enclosed secure grounds with a gated entrance and private parking. There is a communal heated swimming pool with pool side terrace, slide and shower. A bar is available throughout the day for soft drinks and snacks. Breakfast may be taken in the dinning room.
Each gite offers standard accommodation, lounge with television (French), kitchen dining area, shower and separate wc, one or two bedrooms. The chambre d’hote offers a double bedroom with television (French), shower and wc.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere indoors in any part of the complex including the gites and chambre d’hotes. Pets are not allowed.
Gites are from: 400 euros per week for 4 persons sharing 2 bedroom accommodation
to: 600 euros per week for 2 persons in the pool side one bedroom gite
with private entrance direct onto the pool side terrace and swimming pool.
Bedding, linen and final cleaning 15 euros per person per week
Chambre d’hotes / rooms are: 42 euros for 1 person
51 euros for 2 persons.
Breakfast is charged at 5 euros per person.
The complex closes the gates at 11PM until 6:30AM.
The Domaine l’Etang de Sandanet is 30 minutes drive from Bergerac with it’s airport and charming medieval town centre, 10 minutes from the town of Mussidan which has all the usual shops, restaurants and supermarkets, banks, post office etc.
