Description
Chateau Masburel is an English owned vineyard overlooking the river Dordogne at St Foy la Grande. Built in 1740, the magnificent stone built Chateau has been completely renovated. The vineyard has 23Ha of vines making both red and white wines. The wines have won many gold medals in competition and been rated "Coup de Coeur" by two different wine publications. Grape varieties include Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot for the reds and Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon for the whites. You can visit any weekday from 2pm to 6pm for a tour and tasting of the award winning wines.
